SARASOTA - Tampa-based Salerno Entertainment, Florida's ageless and most energetic theatrical and entertainment company, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a joint and mutually-beneficial agreement to establish its Sarasota County touring venue at the Glenridge Performing Arts Center on Palmer Ranch.
Salerno Entertainment has combined the top talents, resumes, and assets of the highly recognized Salerno Theatre,"Tampa Bay's Musical Theatre Company" and American Concert Company to create Florida's most dynamic entertainment organization.
The multi-million dollar Glenridge Performing Arts Center (GPAC), located at 7333 Scotland Way, Sarasota, FL 34238, is the newest and brightest performance venue in Sarasota.
From its picturesque setting to its elegant, yet modern interior design, it has distinguished itself in the areas’ repertoire of performing arts halls, featuring a proscenium stage and a $750,000 lighting and sound system, all playing to an intimate 276 seats.
Salerno's acclaimed theatrical and cabaret productions have been touring in multiple counties in Florida to standing ovations since 2004, including performing arts venues in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties as well as corporate-sponsored and unique private events. Salerno Entertainment is thrilled to embark upon this new relationship with the GPAC in order to bring its high quality, Las Vegas-style theatrical concerts to life for the first time in Sarasota. |

Salerno Entertainment will be presenting three unique musical events during the 2010-11 GPAC season. These events will span Broadway's finest songs, an exclusive tribute to the Chairman of the Board, and a high-energy salute to bobby sox, poodle skirts, blue jeans, and fast cars.
