*** THIS IS A GENERAL CALL AUDITION. Based on each production's specific needs, we may or may not hold auditions for specific shows. ***

Auditions are by APPOINTMENT ONLY.  Please send an email request for an audition to Auditions@SalernoTheatre.com to set up an audition time. When emailing, please include your theatrical resume and headshot if possible, as well as your schedule availability for audition and callback days.

All those auditioning are asked to prepare 16-32 bars of two separate pieces: a musical theatre selection and a 50's/60's/Motown selection.

Please bring sheet music in your key, as an accompanist will be provided. Pre-recorded music auditions are acceptable. A CD player will be provided. Accapella auditions are strongly discouraged.

Please also come prepared for a dance/movement audition as some auditionees may be asked to move. You may feel free to bring a change of clothes for a movement audition if you wish.

NOTE TO FEMALES: We are looking for two specific types of female actresses for those auditioning for MUSIC OF THE KNIGHT. We are looking for a quirky, comedic soprano/Kristen Chenoweth-type. We are also looking for an alto belt capable of singing Defying Gravity.

If auditioning for the comedic soprano, please have an appropriate character piece prepared in addition to your initial audition selections. If auditioning for the alto belt role, if asked by the panel, please be prepared to sing the final verse and chorus of Defying Gravity (from "So, if you care to find me, look toward the western sky" to the end of the song).

Both Salerno Entertainment and The Salerno Theatre Co. are professional, regional organizations. All artists receive either a flat stipend and/or a profit-sharing agreement as part of their participation in any production if selected.

For more information, or to schedule an audition appointment, please send an email to Auditions@SalernoTheatre.com.
